The International Committee of the Red Cross is a private humanitarian institution founded in 1863 in Geneva, Switzerland. Its 25-member committee has a unique authority under international humanitarian law to protect the life and dignity of the victims of international and internal armed conflicts. The ICRC supports the service by donating skills, materials, time and funds. |

Facing Africa
Facing africa provides funds for teams of voluntary surgeons from the UK, Germany and Holland to travel to Nigeria and Ethiopia to perform facial reconstruction surgery on the victims of the disease noma. The charity also provides funds for the purchase of relevant hospital equipment in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and Sokoto (Nigeria). Cheshire Services has recently become involved with Facing Africa to help rehabilitate children who have been victims of noma. |

CBM supports the provision of more than 900 projects in more than 90 countries reaching out to over 20 million people worldwide. CBM aims to provide services within communities and supports Cheshire Services' Community-Based Rehabilitation programs leaving communities with a legacy of skills. |

Jesus College Cambridge University, United Kingdom
Jesus College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. The college was founded in 1496 on the site of a Benedictine nunnery by John Alcock and has been devoted to learning and education ever since. In recent years the college has formed a partnership with Cheshire Services' Menagesha Rehabilitation Centre where every summer students visit for several weeks donating time and skills. |
